The Three Day Fruit Diet
Detoxifying your body in three short days is one of the quickest cleanse routines possible. Although it’s a short regimen, the effect on your quality of life will be profound. The fruit flush 3 day detox is ideally suited for maintaining digestive tract health after a more thorough and intense cleanse.
Now to impart our specific master cleanse secrets. Lets begin with the foods you will need. The amounts will vary from person to person, so don’t force yourself to overeat if it becomes uncomfortable.
Day One:
From the time you wake up, eat one serving of fresh fruits every two hours. Organic fruit is best. Ensure that you eat the skins of any fruits with edible skin, as they contain great fiber and micronutrients. One serving for easy reference is a medium sized single apple, pear, orange or apricot. Sweeter fruits like a kiwi also count as a full serving, though kiwi can be a little hard on an empty stomach.
Eat five cups of raw vegetable salad with five ounces of lean meat for supper. Chicken breast without skin is best. Chase it down with an ounce of olive or flax seed oil. Alternatively, and my personal preference, is to eat half an avocado and half a lemon, which can be either juiced or sliced.
Days Two and Three:
Every two hours after you get up, eat a serving of fresh fruit, just like the first day.
At supper, have only a single cup sized salad and one hard boiled egg. You can have a small protein shake instead if you prefer; the goal is just to keep your strength up despite your lowered caloric intake.
One final point is that although this diet is good for short term weight loss, it is not balanced for extended use. I recommend doing this routine for no more than a week straight. Always consult a doctor before beginning this or any other major change in diet.
